Dr H. lincoln douglas holds a doctorate in adult education from northern Illinois university with special emphasis in the field of cultural studies, community development and political studies; a Master of Arts (MA) in management with special emphasis in, arts entertainment and media, from Columbia college in Chicago and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees in mass communication and Christian education from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. Dr Douglas is a, training & development and community specialist and cultural scientist. He is the founder of OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE by dADI, a consulting org., which has as its mission: creating high performing organizations. Dr. Douglas has recently completed a five-year term as an elected member of the Trinidad and Tobago Parliament and served as the minister in the Ministry of Social Development and the Minister of Arts and Multiculturalism; he is a lecturer in the areas of sociology, ethics, public speaking and contemporary communications. He is also a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT). A poet storyteller and writer, Dr. Douglas has just completed his third book in a series Datrinia, a socio political psy-fi fantasy trilogy. He is also a drummologist with specialty in African drumming, and has taught drum making and drum playing to several communities across the Caribbean and North America. |
